The cute black cat in the bowl looks like my cat, Pumpkin. The avatar alone interested me, but I also enjoyed reading your articles and posts and like that you have a sense of humor. You seem to like animals, as do I, so thought I'd stop here and say hi. :)
Great comments and seeds... Keep up the good work!
I started a new group that I would like to invite you to join, if you are interested,

Enjoyed the Pravda link, always searching for new news sources.
I enjoy your taste in journalism. My kitty Evel Kneivel says hello also.

I've been reading some of your seeds and articles and really like them but I have to tell you that when I see the picture of the cat in the bowl I am reminded of a Japanese video of three cats laying sleeping in bowls. There is three minuets of music and the cats moving from bowl to bowl sometimes all in the same bowl.
But anyway I am putting you on my watch list so I can read more of your articles. See you on the vine!
I agree with all of the above posters! You are an hilarious treasure.
Thank you for making good days better!— G. H.
It would not be Newsvine without you cartooncat you bring such absolute laughter and joy you are the glue that holds Newsvine together Thanks :) :) :)

I just wanted to stop by and thank you, cartooncat, for keeping IronyVine going in my absence. I've been studying for the bar exam and haven't had much time lately. Everything you bring to that group is exactly what I envisioned the group to be -- a place for the ironic, cheeky, silly, fun stories. Sort of a subset of 'odd-news,' that makes me think that it cannot possibly be real because it is so deliciously ironic. So, thanks a lot for your effort and insight. You get it.
Go Cartoon Cat go...

Thanks for the add

Your articles always bring me a good chuckle. Thanks for your great contributions to the vine!
Fellow Viners should not be confused with Cartooncat's handle. Behind it lies a talented, sophisticated and shrewd observer. The 'Cat's presence on comment threads is through humour.
Yet seeds and articles cover a multitude of topics which the 'Cat handles with ease and sensitivity. Certainly knows what social networking is all about! Watch the 'Cat - a rising star on the Vine!
Amidst all the cartoon cats: Korky, Mr Jinx, Top Cat, Tom, Felix and Fritz, Newsvine has the best. Wonderful comments, great seeds and a fantastic dry sense of humour, that's Cartooncat.
