Seminal soft rock band The Eagles are to release their first studio album in 28 years, it has been confirmed.
The US outfit, whose hits include Hotel California and Life In The Fast Lane, will put out the new album in October, said their record label Universal.
How Long, the first single from Long Road Out of Eden, has already been premiered on the radio and on video.
The Eagles, who have sold 120m records worldwide, split in 1980 but have toured intermittently since.
