Cat... I watched the program on the History Channel about Charlie Vandergaw and at the end I was seething with anger about the State of Palin interfering with him and his way of life...maybe feeding the bruins ain't all that SAFE, but damn! Alaska IS the LAST frontier the the US has and those that live there do have a little contempt for 'normal' society somewhere down deep in their souls, even though most probably wouldn't admit it...LOL! Guess the point I'm trying to make is, Charlie Vandergaw has NOT endangered one person DELIBERATELY, except maybe himself and we DO, supposedly have the right to the pursuit of happiness in this country, or at least that is what it WRITTEN in the Constitution, so IF Charlie has NOT endangered anyone deliberately and he wants to be the sweet, kind soul that he is, the State of Alaska needs to back OFF! I, for one have to give it to him, he has guts interacting with the grizzlies and black bears on a daily basis...and it pisses me off that the State decides they have the right to interfere and they make the old man cry to boot...guess I better stop RIGHT NOW...my Blood pressure just went up twenty notches...my take on ANY state official ANYWHERE...buncha self important, officious little pricks!....ARRRGGGGHHHHH

You left pompous, over bearing, and in reference to anatomical parts, they will not understand what you are refering too.

It figures that Palin would be governor when this kind of sh** goes down. It should be against the law to feed her.

crysta1

things like this should be a case by case basis.

The laws are there to protect the stupid people like the ones that jump into Zoo enclosures to give polar bears hugs.

this fellow obviously knows what he is risking and is not posing a threat to the animals.

let him be.

Palin is doing her job by protecting the general idiot public. Leave the stupid politics out of this.

I SINCERELY apologize for leaving out pompous AND overbearing, but I was halfway to delirium due to an elevated blood pressure...sorry!

And yeah, I did oldman...sorry...I promise it WON'T happen again...

What? it's NOT against the law to feed Palin and her brood? Jeez!

Jumping into polar bear enclosures?> Hmmm, DID you see how QUICKLY the one polar bear spit her out and went underwater?...Presumably to wash the taste out of it's mouth...LOL!

and YES...Charlie knows the risks and he harms NO ONE or the BEARS...but as usual...the monkeys in govt jobs just HAVE this burning need to get involved and just make amess of things...dammit!
