A teenager was left badly burnt after he played with a lighter while carrying a leaky can of petrol in a lift.

A spark from the lighter ignited the fuel can which the 17-year-old dropped, spilling burning petrol all over the lift floor at the apartment block in Gmunden, Upper Austria last night (Mon).
