A boy aged 7 has become Britain's youngest skydiver. Tom Hayes jumped from 9,000ft over Lake Bled while on holiday in Slovenia.
His sister Lucy, 8, who also did a tandem skydive from a Cessna 206 turbo aircraft, has become the youngest female skydiver in Britain. The pair amazed their friends when they returned to school after the holidays and told them they had jumped out of a plane.
Children under 16 are not allowed to skydive in this country. Tom, from Sawston, Cambridgeshire, said: "It was really fun, but quite scary. It felt like my heart was in my tummy.
