Loud sex a human right, says loud sex woman

advertisement

A Tyne and Wear woman whose raucous lovemaking earned her an ASBO and multiple cuffings will declare in court that the order is a violation of her human rights.

Caroline Cartwright, 48, of Washington, was dragged before magistrates back in April for five breaches of a noise abatement order requiring her to turn down the volume during intimate moments with hubby Steve.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

HAHAHAHA! Wow, really? I mean I'm not a quiet mouse *blush*, but 47 decibels in the neighbors house....through walls & windows? Holy @!$%#! Maybe her husband needs to buy her a gag ball. lol All joking aside, your neighbors...especially children shouldn't be subjected to these sorts of noises. There's laws about mowing your lawn too early or late in the day, loud music, etc. It's reasonable to ask the woman to keep it to a normal level, inside her home. I hope to God they don't have kids living in their home who hear that. Ewwwww!

My gosh!!

O. K. First thing's first. What is "ASBO"??

Now another question. . . I wonder what the decibels were of the laughter and giggling involved when the neighbors heard this woman's vocalizations of happiness and delight?!? Personally, I would hate to see ANYONE'S "happiness and delight" squashed because they can't shriek, or shrill, or moan, or yell loudly, "Yes. . . Yes. . . Yes. . . " A loving couple should enjoy their "happiness and delight". (I am soooo glad that my wife and I own a home on five acres of land in the middle of the woods! LOL!)

How about installing better sound-proofing materials within the building?? There certainly exists quality sheet-rock and other sound-proofing materials that keep down the decibels of sound from bleeding from one apartment to the next. If one can hear the vocalizations of "happiness and delight" through the walls, then one can hear all sorts of things like arguments, laughter, belching, and even loud farting. Better sound-proofing within apartment/condo buildings is another option worth exploring rather than arresting someone simply because they are really, really, really happy.

This is definitely one of those WTF? articles. . . LOL! :-)

An ASBO is an "Anti-Social Behaviour Order" ... basically the court tells you what you can/can't do and if you break the ASBO you can be sent to jail.
