This guy needs to consider another line of work.Something nice and realatively safe.Test pilot,food taster for a south American dictator,Bullet resistant clothing sampler you get the idea,safer.

The trains on the video are both German ICE (Intercity Express) trains.

My guess is that the video is a fake.

A track inspector would normally not be alone on the tracks. There would be a lookout - and safety posts with compressed air hooters to warn of an approaching train.

Normally train drivers would also be warned of work being done on the tracks and would have a speed limit imposed.

On the other hand... it could be a sub contractor trying to avoid the paperwork of applying to look at a piece of track they were going to have to work on...
