A HUNGRY snake found his latest meal hard to swallow — when it tried to eat its own tail.
The greedy 3ft creature mistook his rear end for a tasty dish and started to gobble it up.
The panic-stricken king snake quickly realised its mistake but was unable to regurgitate his tail because his backward-facing teeth had taken hold.
Ooops...
Maybe the snake ought to adopt a vegan diet?
Ooops, indeed! I always wondered if a snake ever tried to do that... I guess I have my answer!
Talk about nearly losing your head over a little piece of tail.
WOW!
This is a flesh-and-blood illustration of a very ancient symbol that represents the eternal circle of creation and destruction, the Ouroboros of old...
I was really surprised to see this! lol
Thanks for this seed, cartooncat.
Karl, there is a profound aspect to this, if the snake with a beginning and an end had succeeded in devouring its self, by consuming it's ability to excrete, it would have become a Buddha, or it would have simply ceased to exist in this universe, removing a bit of mass, proving that there are other universes.

Um. I think my brain just flipped into another universe... or maybe I'm just tired...
:-)
I thought the same thing ... decided it was just too complicated to try and leave a rational thought. LOL
I think the owner should be investigated. What did s/he do starve the poor thing that it went after anything that moved for food?
