Man flu DOES exist - study suggests half of men exaggerate cold symptoms

Sorry, chaps, the game is up - scientists have confirmed that you're often not as ill as you say you are.

Half of men will upgrade a common cold to flu and describe headaches as a migraine to gain maximum sympathy.

They will also moan more than women when suffering a bug or virus.

This is despite the fact they catch fewer colds and flu each year - five compared with women's average of seven.

Finally! Confirmation! I would rather have 3 sick little ones in the house than 1 sick man. Collectively they moan and groan a lot less than!

women also endure pain better and have longer endurance !

aside from upper body strength , men however are faster . not always a good thing.

tired-

whatever you have noticed..or not noticed, women do endure pain better than men. There have been multiple studies on this, just google it. i'm not going to argue the endurance issue with you because there are facts on both sides. Let me just say though that yes the large majority of field workers in third world countries are women. Even here in a dual income home the man typically(not always, typically) goes to work and comes home and waits for dinner and expects clean clothes while the woman goes to work then comes home cooks, does laundry and takes care of the kids. So does she have more endurance than him since he comes home and sits or is he just lazy and refusing to take part in caring for the home?
