A school has launched an investigation into claims a teacher burnt a pupils’ head using lab equipment in an attempt to melt her coloured hair extensions out.

Courtney Blades-Wilkinson, 13, says she and a friend were dragged out of the classroom and subjected to the ‘scary and humiliating’ ordeal after the teacher spotted their new hairstyles broke the dress code.

And the pupil alleges some sort of heat gun was used, but when that failed to remove the glued-in false hair, the friends were ordered take turns cutting each others’ hair out.
