A 19-year-old German tourist died Friday after trying to jump between balconies in a Spanish resort in the middle of the night, police said.

A number of foreign holidaymakers have died jumping from balconies in Spain in recent years, typically when aiming themselves into swimming pools in a stunt known as "balconing."
