Actress Sarah Moss told today of her shock after becoming the latest Londoner to find a dead frog in their bag of Tesco spinach.

Ms Moss, 26, from Shoreditch, made a salad using the spinach leaves and was eating it with a friend when they spotted the corpse on their plate.

She said: “We must have been eating it for five minutes when her fork pierced something that wasn’t supposed to be there. My friend was sick several times as she is a vegetarian.”
